We’ve built our own Food Waste App in-house which means we can track all our waste and stay best in class.

We’ve got our waste game down! We only have a waste of 2%. This is due to us making everything to order. Fresh is best.

All our napkins are now made from 100% recycled materials. Recycling is life.

Our relationship with plastic straws is over. All our stores now have 100% paper straws.

We’re making waves not polluting them. We’ve switched to wooden cutlery in all our stores worldwide.

3 SECTIONED BINS

We have prepared 3-sectioned bins in all of our stores and 3rd party recycling partnerships in selected markets (UK) in order to recycle as much of our trash as possible.

REUSABLE CUPS

We’ve created Joe Reusable Cups so that our guests can help us reduce single use. Every purchase with a Joe Reusable Cup gets a discount.

RPET PLASTIC CUPS

Our plastic products will be made from recycled plastic, meaning less single use and landfill. We’re starting with 40% RPET juice cups and are working on a 100% solution for 2025.

Our plastic water bottles will be made from 100% recycled plastic, starting out with Europe in 2020 and rolling out in the rest of the World in 2021.

Bagasse is a sugar cane bi-product that we will be using for our bowls in 2020. It’s compostable and a 100% biological material.
