The two brothers aka “The Berry Brothers” are now one of Australia’s leading Acai and only Maqui Berry suppliers. We pride ourselves on quality, innovation and sustainability. We formulate, import, create and manufacture a wide range of products for both retail and the food service industry. Rewind 10 years and you will meet the same two brothers hustling threads and coffee from a hole in the wall style set-up. The boys saw a hole in the market and decided to place Acai on the menu in their flagship store located on Darby Street in Newcastle. The success led to them to start envisioning importing their own acai so they went to work on some research and development and started testing samples. They found and formed a relationship with a premium acai supplier that had what we believed is the best quality acai they have ever tasted and it was full throttle from there.

With a flagship store and their own supply, the boys grew their reputation in Newcastle as the “best place to get Acai bowls from”. The flagship store became a local and tourist destination so they decided to start wholesaling their Acai to other cafes and venues. They had a strong belief in innovation especially being cafe owners themselves so they decided to investigate other berries found over the world and stumbled across what is known as the world’s healthiest berry, “The Maqui Berry” and found this tart flavoured berry could become the next Acai. They created a product which is now sold across Australia and competes alongside the Acai Berry as a smoothie bowl base. Nowadays, The Berry Brothers supply some of Australia’s biggest Acai venues such as Yo-Chi and have a range of products which are available for both retail and food service.
